Today is the autumnal equinox. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, this is the exact moment that light and darkness hang in perfect balance in the sky, before we start the journey toward Winter’s colder, darker days. In many wellness philosophies, it’s also a traditional time to reset, find your own balance and start fresh. How do we do that? As the warm days of summer dwindle, an inevitable shift is taking place. Those shifts can disrupt your immune health and overall wellness. But you know what? Shift happens. So take a cue from mother nature by slowing down, turning inward, and creating an empowering routine that will boost your physical and mental wellbeing. Here are our 5 go-to practices to start today for true, natural wellness all season long:

  • 1 . Manuka Every Morning

After a rigorous leaf-peeping hike, take a warm shower, and then try this detoxifying, easy practice. For optimal coziness, cover your core with a soft, heavy blanket and lay on your back with your legs upright against the wall, perpendicular to your body. Relax here for five to ten minutes.

  • 5. Make A Hibernation Station

    Create a ritual that helps you look forward to before sleep.
