This week, we’re sharing 7 of our favorite simple, practical rituals that boost physical wellness and promote self-care.

1. Begin Your Day with a Glass of Water

After a quality night of sleep, our bodies need to be replenished in order to function properly. While it might be tempting to go straight for a hot cup of coffee when you first wake up, challenge yourself by drinking a full 16-ounce glass of water first to help aid in rehydration (then that almond milk latte is all yours to indulge in.) This simple hydrating habit will become an automatic self-care routine in no time.

2. Beat Afternoon Fatigue with This Rewarding Wake-Up Routine

When you’re feeling tired and sluggish, it’s easy to let wellness fall by the wayside. Knowing how to beat the slump is an important way to stay on top of your goals –– and it all starts with the beginning of your day. Twice a week, dedicate 15 minutes of your morning to a quick at-home workout (we love these suggestions from our friends at CleanPlates) followed by a delicious, energizing smoothie: blend 1 whole avocado with 1 cup coconut milk and 1 tablespoon Comvita UMF™ Manuka Honey.

3. Take a Daily Detox Break With this Delicious Elixir

Ingredients
Glass of cold water / mug of hot water
½ lemon

4. Set Aside 10 Minutes for a Calm, Mindful Breakfast

By carving out quality “me time” in the morning, you’re setting the tone for your entire day. Directions

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a low boil
