The Medihoney® Adhesive Dressings are a waterproof, latex-free hydrogel dressing infused with antibacterial medical grade Manuka honey. The Dressings maintain a moist environment for optimal wound healing or minor wounds, burns, cuts, grazes and blisters.
Medihoney™ Adhesive Dressings are available in two sizes:
Directions for use:
- Clean the wound and dry surrounding areas
- Remove Medihoney® Adhesive Dressing from the wrapper and peel off backing. Apply to the affected area
- Smooth adhesive edges and press down firmly to secure. Remove backing. Replace with new dressing when current dressing starts to detach.
How often should I change my wound dressing?
Not every wound is the same and so we recommend that wound dressings are changed as required depending on the size and severity of the wound as well as whether the dressing gets wet, dirty or damaged. If the dressing is clean and sealed, it can stay in place for up to 7 days. Continue to keep the affected area covered until the wound is completely healed.
How to Remove?
Gently stretch the adhesive dressing horizontal to the skin around the edges until the dressing lifts off.
